The Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) is a group of college and university-based officer training programs for training commissioned officers of the United States Armed Forces. Kansas State University boasts strong Army and Air Force ROTC programs, which allow students to take elective Military Science courses along with academic core curriculum coursework. ROTC is the college elective for undergraduate and graduate students that provides unrivaled leadership training for success in any career field.

Colonels Roush and Witthoeft will touch on recruiting challenges and ways in which the KSU ROTC programs and the greater community can find areas of mutual benefit. The luncheon will also feature a drill demonstration from the KSU ROTC chapter of the National Society of Pershing Rifles, whose purpose is to develop outstanding traits of leadership, military science, military bearing, and discipline within the framework of a military oriented, honorary fraternity.
