Women in Business: Leading Ladies

Description

Our first speaker is Dr. Sherry Fleming, Director of the Johnson Cancer Research Center at Kansas State University.  She was a first generation student as her dad was a carpenter and her mom worked in a grocery store.  In addition, she was a non-traditional student as a military spouse and obtained her BS and MS in Microbiology from Kansas State University.  After continuing her education, she returned to KSU to share her love of research.  

"Women in Business: Leading Ladies" is an empowering and insightful program that shines a spotlight on the remarkable achievements and contributions of women in the world of business. This program offers an engaging exploration of the journeys, triumphs, and challenges faced by female leaders, entrepreneurs, and visionaries across various industries.

Through compelling discussions, thought-provoking panels, and inspiring narratives, "Women in Business: Leading Ladies" aims to celebrate the accomplishments of these trailblazing women while also fostering meaningful conversations about gender equality, leadership, innovation, and the evolving landscape of modern business. 

Participants can expect to gain valuable insights, inspiration, and actionable takeaways as they delve into the stories and strategies of these exceptional female role models who have shattered glass ceilings and carved out paths of success for themselves and future generations.
